Blue Lotus School of Shiatsu accepts
15 new students at each of its program locations beginning
in May. Application materials are collected and interviews
are conducted until each class has reached its maximum capacity
of 15. Once the classes are full, additional applications
may be considered and a list of alternates will be selected
in the event an accepted student decides not to join the new
class.
Applicants with disabilities will be individually evaluated
to determine their ability to successfully complete the program
and work in the field. Efforts will be made to provide reasonable
accommodation for appropriate candidates.
The minimum educational requirement for admission to Blue
Lotus School of Shiatsu is the satisfactory completion of
at least a high school diploma or GED. All applicants must
be at least 18 years of age.
Transfer credit is considered for those applicants who have
already completed course work in Western Anatomy and Physiology.
Previous course work in Anatomy and Physiology must satisfy
the equivalent of 100 hours of study with a grade of “C”
or better in the course. Individuals interested in pursuing
this option must submit an official transcript with their
admissions application.
The application process is composed
of two parts: the submission of a completed application packet
and an interview with the Program Director. Satisfaction of
both of these requirements must be met prior to consideration
for acceptance.
An Application Form may be obtained
by calling or emailing the school or downloaded from the school
website. The completed application packet must consist of
the following:

class, details regarding course schedules, tuition requirements

of acceptance in order to reserve his or her place. This deposit
